When they show up, write them all down. Take time to get to know them and figure out new directions. You don’t know when a great idea will show up to you.
If you want to be the best writer you can be, you have to do one simple thing. Great writing begins there.

If you want to learn how to drive a car, you should practice in an empty parking lot while school is out. This is smart because you won’t hit another car with yours while you learn how to hit the brake. Nobody is behind you so you won’t annoy them. By the time you hit the road, no one has to fear for their life. You can get good at anything if you are bad at it first.
It is not easy. You will pay for it later if you don’t do it. Kids are born with foolishness, if you are a parent. It’s your job to drive it out of them so they don’t get into trouble.
If you want to be a great writer, you have to take this step. It might not make sense to start writing from a raw idea. That is okay. Writers have to warm up their pens a bit before they can start writing.
Trust me, the next point is not counter to that. Don’t worry, you don’t have to share the trash.
Do you want to be the best? Your failures should be shared.

Show us your flaws. You should share your failures. We are aware that you are not happy about them. It is possible for a bad experience to bring someone hope.
One person is awesome and another is awful. Do you want to please everyone? You can not. The people who care about what you care about.
We can’t relate to people who have perfect lives. We love those who succeed despite their messed up state. Is that a better gift?
Pick the right goal. Share that mess.
What are we left to focus on? We kicked it to the curb.
How can you leave someone better than you found them? There is effectiveness.
How deep can you go to show that you care and that it is okay to be messed up? How can your story give hope to others?
Is it telling you not to aim high? The best connections with readers are made by honest writers.
Do you remember who you were yesterday? It is the only fair contest. You know what it will take to achieve your mission. Each post should be part of a body of work dedicated to that mission. No way that is possible.
When you embrace the rubbish, it all starts. If you write it out, you will find the gold.
